Samarkand is the oldest city of the world and has the history of 25 centuries. It is the second largest city in Uzbekistan after Tashkent, the capital of the republic. Majestic and beautiful city Samarkand has marvellous and attractive power. Poets and historians of the past called it "Rome of the East", "The beauty of sublunary countries", "The pearl of the Eastern Muslim World". It is not by chance. Its advantageous geographical positions in Zeravshan valley put Samarkand to the first place among the cities of the Central Asia. The Great Silk Road crossed Samarkand. Not only trade roads but also different customs and traditions of peoples linked here which formed the local distinctive culture. Samarkand was the cultural centre of the ancient state. |

About Kamila hotel
Our Kamila hotel is opened in 2000. The hotel is located in the center of Samarkand city close to the administrative offices, historical monuments like Registan Square, Ulugbek Observatory and other places of interest of the ancient city.
International airport - 5 minutes.
Railway station - 5 minutes.
There are 2 floors, 15 rooms (8 double, 5 single, 2 superior) in our hotel. Each of them has telephone line, satellite TV, air conditioners and separate bathrooms.
